The Practicality of Communication

The first week of new employment is often called the “waste period”, the week where you feel lost, dysfunctional and thus is a week where one struggles to absorb all the information perceived to be necessary for future success at the job. Amongst the blurriness, I was invited to attend a meeting to discuss some of the recent progressions with our product suites. Situated in a room three to four times the size of our usual TM room with lots of distraction noises from those not involved in the meeting itself, it was a horrible or daunting set up for any speaker let alone someone without inexperience.
